LOCAL FOR A DAY
One of the most popular requests from guests is “We want to see how the locals live”. With this in mind, we decided to curate an UMX tour that does just that!
During a driving tour of the town, each guest will be able to visit the market and sample local fruits and vegetables directly from vendors, taste local ‘street food’ and observe fishermen and others in their natural habitat (all previously arranged by our team). Guests will leave feeling like they were actually a part of our culture for the day after being totally immersed in it (albeit controlled).

FULL DESCRIPTION
This experience begins the moment guests are collected from the Park Hyatt, St. Kitts resort in our clean and comfortable vehicle.
Guests are treated to a half island tour by our competent and friendly tour guide, with stops at the island’s major historical landmarks including the famous Sir Timothy’s Hill, The Independence Square.
At the final stop, guests will be wowed by a show stopping setup of cultural pride at its best. A mixture of authentic food, engaging music, dancing and history all rolled into one.
Each guest will be presented with some of the island’s best dishes during an interactive food tasting session. Learning the history behind the dishes, how they are made, and experiencing the raw and locally processed form of the food are just a fraction of what you can expect.
